Terms of Service
1. Service Description
Dev Expert ("the Service") is operated by Hypernetix Pte. Ltd. ("the Company"). The Service provides automated analysis of GitHub repositories, generating dashboards with metrics, action items, and improvement suggestions based on repository contents and activity data.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
3. Account Registration
To access full reports, you must authenticate via GitHub OAuth. By registering, you grant the Service read-only access to the GitHub data required for analysis. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
4. Free Plan
The free plan provides:
- Analysis of up to 20 public GitHub repositories
- Daily monitoring
- 1 report generation at a time
- Full report access requires GitHub authentication
5. Paid Plans
The Pro plan is billed per user at $25/user/month (monthly billing) or $20/user/month billed annually at $240/user/year. Team plans with custom repository capacity are available on request.
6. Data Access and Privacy
The Service accesses repository data through the GitHub API using permissions you grant. The Service reads repository contents, pull requests, issues, commits, review comments, and file change history. The Service does not modify repository data. See our Privacy Policy for details on how data is handled.
7. Abuse Protection
The Service may require CAPTCHA verification or apply rate limiting if it detects an unusually high number of requests from a single source. This is to protect service quality for all users.
8. Private Repositories
Analyzing private repositories requires GitHub authentication with read access to the repository. Non-paying users may see a partial report for private repositories. Full reports and continuous monitoring for private repositories require a paid subscription.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The Company is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service. The analysis provided is informational and should not be the sole basis for business decisions.
10. Termination
The Company may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or any other reason. You may stop using the Service at any time.
11. Changes to Terms
The Company may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
